Our Nearly Zero Project is a toolkit to get whole schools walking on the path to changing the culture of waste in their buildings and believing in their students to lead it.

We innovate ways to limit consumption in the classroom, in our backyards, and everyday life.

We spread understanding of
the social and environmental effects of what we buy, eat, and how we choose to live.

We reclaim unused school gardens, we foodscape school campuses, and we relearn with youth how to grow food.

We teach about food justice, food literacy, and how healthy soil leads to healthy food which grows a healthy body.
